Celebrating 10 Years of Educational Pathways Academy at Our Back-to-School Birthday Bash

There was plenty to celebrate at Educational Pathways Academy this August!

As we began the 2026–2027 school year, our EPA family gathered at our North Campus for a special Back-to-School Birthday Bash celebrating 10 years of Educational Pathways Academy. Students, families, teachers, staff, and friends came together for an afternoon filled with community and plenty of birthday fun.

Families enjoyed Kona Ice, tie-dye, cupcakes, and games as we celebrated the beginning of another school year and reflected on how far EPA has come.

Ten Years of Serving Students with Learning Differences

EPA’s story began with a simple but important realization: too many students with learning differences were struggling in traditional educational settings without the specialized support they needed.

Our founder, Molly Arthur, saw this firsthand through her work as a tutor. She dreamed of creating a school where students could be understood for how they learn rather than defined by the areas where they struggle.

That dream became Educational Pathways Academy.

What began with just 26 students has grown into a school community serving students across two campuses in Naples and Estero. Today, EPA provides specialized education for students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities, helping them discover that the way they learn does not have to limit what they can accomplish.

A Celebration of the EPA Community

While the birthday bash celebrated 10 years of EPA, it was also a celebration of the people who have made those years possible.

Our students and families are at the heart of everything we do. Over the years, teachers, staff, parents, supporters, and community partners have joined together around the belief that students with learning differences deserve an education that recognizes their strengths and supports their needs.

That community was especially evident during the birthday celebration. Our EPA team worked together to make the afternoon special, and parent volunteers helped add some extra fun and color to the festivities.

We were also grateful to welcome representatives from the Wildcat Run Charitable Foundation, who presented Mrs. Arthur with a grant supporting EPA. This marked the third consecutive year of their support, and we are deeply grateful for their generosity and continued partnership.

Looking Ahead to the Next 10 Years

As we reflect on 10 years of EPA, we are grateful for the journey and look forward to the continued growth and opportunities ahead.

As a private school for dyslexia and learning disabilities in Florida, EPA remains committed to giving students an environment where they are understood, encouraged, and given the support they need to grow.

Our Back-to-School Birthday Bash was a joyful way to begin our 10th year, and gave us the opportunity to celebrate the students and families at the heart of our mission, as well as the teachers, staff, and community who have helped make our work possible.

We are grateful for the past 10 years and excited for everything still ahead!

A decade of hope. A future of possibilities.
